'To Be us'

We are built on practice and unifying this practice until it becomes us.

Definition of Practice (Oxford Dictionary)

Practice (noun):

  1. The actual application or use of an idea, belief, or method, as opposed to theories relating to it.

  2. The customary, habitual, or expected procedure or way of doing something.

  3. The carrying out or exercise of a profession, especially that of a doctor or lawyer.(lets say elite athlete, coach, carer or organisation.

  4. Repeated exercise in or performance of an activity or skill so as to acquire or maintain proficiency in it.

  5. A business or place where professional services are offered (e.g. “a dental practice”). IN MY KINGDOM

It was 2017 when I coined the expression 'to be us'. I was skipping in my bedroom, deep into a phase of studying and practising Buddhism on the central coast. I’d been reading a book that explored the nature of skill — a concept I’ll dive into in another blog. In that moment, I was fully immersed, completely in sync with my movement. My body and mind were aligned. And then it came to me: To Be Us.

I realised I wasn’t just training a skill — I was in full partnership with it. We were unified. Practising as one. Becoming one, and then being one. That phrase captured it perfectly, and I knew then: this was the future of my performance. My practice and I would no longer be separate — we would move as one.

  1. Applied Methods — Not Theory

We apply the latest evidence-based techniques in performance psychology, neurobiology, and behavioural science. from visualisation to cognitive reappraisal, from attention control to arousal regulation — we’re about real-world application, not academic theory..

Every athlete we work with leaves with measurable tools, frameworks, and routines.

If it can’t be trained and tracked, we don’t use it.

2. Habitual Systems, Not Quick Fixes

High performance isn’t a motivational spike — it’s a system. We embed daily mental #conditioning #routines into training environments, tailored to individual athlete profiles.

Our process includes:

  • Pre-competition routines

  • Decision-making under fatigue

  • Post-match debrief systems

  • Recovery protocols rooted in mental decompression and recalibration

Performance psychology becomes part of the athlete’s everyday operating system. 'To Be Us'

3. A Professional Practice for Professional Athletes

We operates as a performance practice in the truest sense — a professional service where elite-level mental skills are assessed, trained, and developed consistently.

Whether working with:

  • Athletes on Olympic trajectories

  • Academy players under pressure

  • Rehabilitation athletes rebuilding confidence

  • Coaches leading high-stakes environments

  • Trauma-Informed practitioners and their organisations

  • Or Spiritual Warriors wanting to develop and deepen their faith.

Our practice and skill approach is scientifically informed, performance driven, and results focused.

4. Repetition Drives Mastery

Elite athletes don’t rise to the occasion — they fall to the level of their training. That includes mental training.

We design systems of repetition — not just for physical drills, but for:

  • Managing pressure

  • Focus maintenance

  • Stress inoculation

  • Resetting after mistakes

Through deliberate practice, we help athletes wire in psychological skills with the same rigour as technical or tactical training.

  1. Practice — And a Place

We’re not a course. We’re not a one-off session. We are a professional environment — digital and physical — where athletes, coaches and organisations engage in sustained mental performance work with us.

We offer:

  • Mental toughness diagnostics

  • Individual performance coaching

  • Team-wide psychological frameworks

  • On-tour travel support for high-performing athletes

  • Digital data tracking tools

This is where elite minds train to become consistent, composed, and competitive — under pressure.

Basically this is us! In every definition of the word. We build mental athletes through repetition, customisation, and measurable systems.

It’s not mindset.It’s not motivation.It’s #performance #psychology, applied.
